This year I had the opportunity to essentially practice what I was learning at the winery...hopefully with similar results in the finished product.<BR/><BR/>By the way, one evening during harvest we enjoyed a 1997 Hermann Weil Riesling "Dry" from the Finger Lakes area. Not exactly "dry" - more like a spatlese. It was very tasty and definitely more of the more unique expressions of rielsing that I've tasted from the US.
